Everything in short. check the exhausts for oil residue, Wheel bearings suspension linkage bearings, steering head bearings brake feel, disc condition, chain. ride the bike run it up and down the gearbox feeling for a smooth change give it a good handful if possible in each gear to see if it jumps out. look at the overall condition has it been regularly cleaned? What extras are fitted sensible stuff like Scott oilers etc show a caring owner. look for a decent service history not necessarily stamped up but receipts for spares etc should suffice. I've always kept everything for my bikes as I service them myself so. research the bike ask the owner questions IE what grade oil how much does it take what make of brake pads if he says he doesn't know it's done by his dealer again look for receipts. Whilst on the test ride check for blue smoke on acceleration if there is it could be piston rings on the way out and also chop the throttle then give it a hand full if it puffs blue smoke this could point towards valve guides or valve stem seals. At 30k the bike may well have needed the valves shimmed a couple of times an expensive job again receipts for the work should be present or at least for the parts it may be halfway towards needing a new camchain too 50k is the longest I'd leave one for. You asked sorry. Chances are theres fuck all wrong with it apart from cycle parts.

It's a popular first "big bike" for new riders (or was!), so it'll probably have been dropped a couple of times. IIRC if it lands on the exhaust, it can bend the subframe - worth a check. Being a newbie favourite, you might find that maintenance has either been done on a budget or ignored completely - check all the things Chappers says, and good luck.

You can buy restrictors that go in the intake that will reduce it to 33bhp you will need a certificate to prove it's been done I think. Big Ham is quite genned up on it all I think.
