GSX-R Trackday-Hungaroring 29th May-9am to 6pm Kawasaki Owners(Chase the Sunset) trackday 6pm to 8pm. Sold my K/sliders to a Ninja 600summit rider for 12 quid cos "I forgot to bring some"-pity he had been seen pulling his off and binning them- Sorry but its funny but a bit sad-is it all about getting your knee down rather than enjoying the time?

I've got some nice old scuffed leather knee sliders that came with a second hand suit I bought from Sliders Guest House owner that I wear with pride. Never had my knee down in my life mind. Not without the bike following anyway.

I couldn't care less if I never get my kneedown again, I'm having far too much fun riding in the dirt. I don't know about you immy but it was never about scraping sliders for me anyway.

I can KD ..I do KD ..but not all the time at every opportunity..I prefer to concentrate on a smooth clean ride, rather than flicking the bike around like Haga on Acid!!!
I had a VERY fast ride into work yesterday...no traffic at all and KD'd at least 3 roundabouts...
The ride home I don't think I went above 60mph..visor open just chilling out on the bike enjoying the view..Like everything , there's a time and a place for it..
