Glad you got them to fit in the end - not sure why they needed the spacers but that looks pretty el neeto solution.

First they loosened off the Y-piece bolts and as there is about 2 1/2 cms excess length they slid it towards the backend by 1 cm till the mounts on the cans matched up with the hangers. However due to the shape of the cans-the right hand can lower end was dangerously close to the swing arm-in fact a rivet was almost touching the arm cos the profile of the arm on the right side is different to the left.So by using the spacers it "pushed" the can out as it were. All was then tightened up-no leaks and looks the biz

An ohlins or WP rear shock,rear sets,braided hoses,carbon hugger will compliment them hangers a treat
