Obviously questions will be asked but its concerning that this BBC report is so inaccurate. The real story is that yes there were 2 bikes yes one was two up but only the two up bike was apparently showing no lights and its riders apparently didnt have lids. So why I wonder, when they split up did the Police follow the single rider(helmet on and his lights on?)

Easy nick, init.
I thought most bikes had permanent lights, or did he have race fairings and a day light only MOT? Lots of unanswered questions on that one.

What is SuperBike?
SuperBike is an irreverent, humorous and massively informative magazine for all kinds of bikers. The staff has decades of testing and riding experience and are all still passionate about bikes. Biking is – or should be – great fun as well as a huge thrill.
