Fancy a blast on some exotic Italian superbike without having to shell out a fortune to buy and run it? Spyder Club can help.
Based at Donington Park and Maidenhead, the club has a fine stock of hardware including Ducati's 1098 and 1198S, an MV Agusta F4R 312 and Benelli TnT Café Racer. It's also got a Suzuki GSX-R1000, Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple R. Aprilia's new RSV4 Factory is due soon.
For an annual fee you earn time, mileage and points that entitle you to hire the club's bikes. Depending on when you want to ride, and which group of two groups your chosen bike sits in, points will be deducted from your total. With insurance and all other running costs bar fuel included, the hire scheme represents an alternative to buying your own bike and all the considerations that go all with it – depreciation, servicing, repairs etc.
For an annual fee of £3,000 you earn 50 days, 5,000 miles or 1,200 points. For £2,100 you get 33 days, 3,300 miles and 790 points, and for £1,150 you're entitled to 16 days, 1,600 miles and 380 points.
All the bikes can be ridden anywhere within Europe. The firm also has a Yamaha R6 and Honda Fireblade available for track use at any circuit in the EU.
