Indeed, Portugal is England's oldest ally: both countries signed the Treaty of Windsor in 1373, and, the odd hiccup aside, they've sort of stuck up for each other ever since. We're not so fond of Antonio Salazar though.
Anyway, enough of such fripperies. Portimao is a lovely race track (those who've been there tell me that at least). And at the recent WSB round, there were a lot of lovely ladies wearing promotional lycra outfits. Very good.
But what would Salazar say? We don't care - he's dead now, the daft old dictator...
