Hot weather riding tip

It's hot out there. Damned hot. Here's a smart tip to keep cool on your bike ... Scroll down for the full story
Well we've had a brace of rotten summers in the UK, so we're due a hot one. It's 28 degrees Celsius out there in Croydon (82.4°F) and it's not even lunchtime.
So here's a hot tip for staying cool. I've got one of Arai's natty VX Pro MX lids for my (occcasional) offroad forays. And bugger me if it doesn't make a perfect warm weather lid. The wide aperture gives you the airflow of an open facer, yet the beefy chin bar will keep your face pretty in a spill. Meanwhile, the peak shades you from the sun, and it even looks kinda cool in an urban environment.
Rounded off with a pair of Oakley Crowbar goggles, it's my answer to stifling commutes.
More hot tips tomorrow!
