Well, it's taken a while but our long-term supercharged Suzuki B-King is up and running. And here's a wee video to prove it. ... Scroll down for the full story

It may be a few months behind schedule, but as anyone who's ever attempted a serious bike-building project will tell you - we're not doing so bad with our supercharged long term Suzuki B-King.

This isn't just bolting on an exhaust and Power Commander, fitting new brake hoses and a posh steering damper. This is proper, original fabrication, design and building of a genuine one-off project. And here's a wee rough video of one of the bike's first dyno runs. It's not a full power full revs run yet - we're waiting on some more fuelling electronickery to sort out the secondary injectors. But the charger install all runs nicely, and up to 6,000rpm, it's very clean indeed.

For new readers, we 'teamed up' with top UK drag race tuning shop, Big CC Racing of Wokingham to supercharge a Suzuki B-King. As you'll remember, the original B-King concept bike shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001 had a (pretend) supercharged Hayabusa engine. The stock bike wimped out with only a standard 'Busa lump in place, so we took one, and have duly fitted the blower Suzuki should have fitted.

We'll have more on the bike on the site soon, and in the next issue of SuperBike magazine. And in the meantime, you can see the bike in the flesh at the NEC motorcycle show at Birmingham next month.
