Honda releases previously unseen photos, videos and even - gawd 'elp us - mobile ringtones of the oval-pistoned, 32-valve NR500 V-four race bike ... Scroll down for the full story
No bike firm has more heritage than Honda (discuss...), and the big 'H' has been uploading some of its not inconsiderable archive covering legendary machinery.
Like the NR500 - Honda's attempt to beat the two-strokes that Soichiro Honda hated so much. With oval pistons, two conrods and eight valves per cylinder, it was a technical marvel, but a bit shit in practice (and qualifying, and the race).
