Dainese Flanker jacket
I haven't had this jacket on test for very long, but it's been through some pretty crappy weather and has stood up admirably to each drenching and some pretty chilly motorway riding.
There's not a great deal of storage in the jacket, with just two exterior non-waterproof pockets and two interior waterproof ones. You wouldn't want to carry much more than a mobile phone and a wallet on a rainy day. Sizing is a bit difficult to judge without a conversion chart, but this Italian size 44 is the equivalent to a UK 12. Dainese don't make clothes for fat people so if you are much bigger than a UK 14 and want to wear Dainese, then it's diet time.
The jacket has a lack of toggles which makes zipping the cuffs and pockets nigh on impossible with gloves on. It does have a full circumference zip to attach it to trousers though which is a definite safety plus point as is the comfortable fitting shoulder and elbow armour. There's no integral back protector at all, although there is a pocket for one.
