Let's start with the vital statistics – the chain is 1.2m long (or four-feet, if metric measurements aren't good enough for you), with hardened 9.5mm links. Sure, it's no feather, but this chain is extremely light – together with the padlock it weighs under three kilos, much better than the five or six kilos that monster chains can weigh. It's also good to know that the key cannot be removed until the lock is snapped shut, thus making it impossible to secure your bike and then discover you left your keys at home. Now that would be annoying.
