Garmin Quest GPS

June 11, 2008

Computer gadgetry is usually left to the IT geeks in our office but this Garmin Quest GPS portable navigational system is a breeze to use – surprising, considering the hefty instruction book that came with it. The Quest shows real-time speed (meaning you can go ever so slightly faster through those cameras and see how far out your speedo is), incredibly accurate time of arrival and voice commands meaning you don't have to take your eyes off the road for too long. The unit is compact and light, not much bigger than a mobile phone and is transferable between car and motorbike. It can also be set to 'pedestrian' to find the nearest pub when in town, with estimated walking time!
