Ducati goes for a Burton
It's quite simple. Ducati has licenced its name to Burton to produce some limited edition snowboards in Ducati red and black. The whole exercise is faintly depressing in an 'exploring brand synergies' kind of way. We would quote some of the press release which accompanied the pictures but we'd be suicidal at the end of it. So we wont.
OK, OK, just the one. How about "with Burton's Ducati setup, snowboarders can express their sense of Italian style...". See? Appalling.
Still, Ducati makes mostly good bikes and Burton makes mostly very good snowboards, but let's leave it at that shall we? If you are the sort of person who likes this sort of thing then, yes, this is the sort of thing you'll like.
