Clover Parsifal race suit

July 11, 2008 - Kenny Pryde

We were in Italy recently and had a sneaky peek at the Clover range at the firm's headquarters in Arzignano. Very nice it was too, with this new mid-price suit catching the eye among the leathers.

Made from 1.2mm thick cowhide, it has a water repellent treatment on the outside with, obviously, CE approved protection at the shoulders, elbows and knees. There's a double layer of leather on the backside and stretch 'Kevlar' inserts from the calves to the crotch and on arms.

In addition there's a 'Climacontrol' lining, stretching fold panels on shoulders, elbows and knees, stretching fold panels on internal leg, a neat collar, an air-intake on the hump, inside pocket in the removable lining and, yes, the sliders are included.

Sizes? 46 48 50 52 54 56 58. Colours? Blue, red and a Kawasaki green.

The range of kit we saw at Clover was impressive - both in terms of leathers, casual wear and textiles, so its worth checking out. Find proper propaganda here www.clover.it

Clover might have a low profile outside of Italy, but there's a lot of nice kit in its product line up. And, for race fans, you might like to know that 250cc Grand Prix front runner Alvaro Bautista and 125 GP championship leader Mike Di Meglio are wearing Clover kit this year. And last, come to that.
