Corse you can

December 15, 2006 - dB

Solo Corse makes and imports a diverse range of products, from a non-electric heated suit, elbow-length gloves and a leather treatment that allows you to clean your suit in the washing machine. Needless to say, the man behind it all, David Nicholson, doesn't shy away from new ideas. That's why he has spent the past few years searching the globe for fresh ways to approach old problems. How, for instance, can you make sprockets more durable than those currently on the market? The answer, says David, comes in the form of Ceradure – ceramic-coated sprockets, which reportedly last three times longer than ordinary types. The company is currently developing brake discs using the same technology, and the weight savings could prove revolutionary (arf). Solo Corse already offers its own-brand wavy discs, and new lines include carbon silencers, PTFE brake lines, alloy components, Wilbers racing suspension, and there's more on the way soon. So, if you're not afraid to try something a bit different, check out www.solocorse.co.uk or call 01359 230792.
