The Hack is back

Jamie Hacking
March 13, 2006 - Kenny

We have been reliably informed that Jamie Hacking (Graves Yamaha) "is all healed up from his (pushbike) accident last season" and given the results from Daytona, we have no reason to doubt this.
Hacking won the Daytona Superstock race and he placed second in the 600 Supersport race. Referring to his Superstock win (on Dunlop slicks, as per AMA rules. “Finally I won this race,” Hacking enthused. “It's been nine years that I've been coming here and I've got second place trophies lined up on the shelf. Finally I've got that one to go in the middle of them."
See? Justice was done.
In the supersport race, Hacking's R6 was the second-placed meat in a green Kawasaki sandwich. The race was won by Roger Lee Hayden, younger brother of MotoGP star Nicky Hayden. Oldest of the clan, Tommy, was third. This may well turn out to be the only class we see a Hayden on the top step of any podium this year...just kidding (Really? kidding? – Ed).
