Hacking latest. Still winning
September 6, 2006 - Kenny

Garves Yamaha rider Jamie Hacking recently wrapped up both the US AMA Supersport
and Superstock titles on his YZF-R6 and YZF-R1 respectively, with one round
left to go in the championship
Hacking led home a Yamaha 1-2-3 in the Superstock race on an R1 to win the title at
Road Atlanta with a race remaining at Mid-Ohio.
Hacking tied up the Supersport title even earlier at the previous event at
Virginia Raceway, which isn't too shoddy. Hacking has won 14 races this season, which suggests he wasn't a fluke winner.
These championship victories are made all the more impressive given that
many of the AMA Superbike regulars were also competing in these two
classes.
So, it's warm beer, cricket, football hooliganism, and union jack tatoos all round. For more information and pictures go and visit www.jamiehacking.com, he seems like a thoroughly decent chap.
