Brands Hatch BSB...snowed off
The weathermen were right when they predicted heavy snowfalls in the southern home counties. Already by Saturday afternoon the temperature in the paddock had dropped and the teams were predicting that snow would force a cancellation. And so it proved, with snow falling all day at the Kent circuit.
The pit lane walkabout – slideabout – was replaced by a snowball fight and the racing was canceled around lunchtime. The good news is that the event on the GP circuit has been re-scheduled already for the weekend on May 10-11 and all Sunday tickets are valid.
