BSB winter testing at Almeria lap times
Well, it looks like Leon Haslam will be the rider smiling quietly to himself. Haslam quit the Airwaves Ducati team last season to ride for Honda UK and it looks like the move has paid off. Yes, we know that testing isn't racing, but you'd still rather be at the top of the timing sheets, wouldn't you?
After three days of track testing at Almeria in Andalucia, Haslam, on his first serious outing on the new Honda Fireblade, posted the fastest lap, ahead of the man who replaced him at Airwaves Ducati, Shane Byrne and his Honda team mate Cal Crutchlow on the Honda UK prepped machines.
