Luke Quigley to race British supersport
With our "chum from just west of Brum" Luke Quigley aboard, PDM Racing will ditch the superstock Suzuki GSX-R1000 for a Yamaha R6 in the British supersport championship for the remaining two rounds of the 2007 season.
After a tough season hampered by Quigley's shoulder injury the team is currently 8th in superstocks and decided to switch classes, and bikes, in a bid to get a foothold ready for a full BSS championship assault in 2008.
Quigley will use the R6 for this weekend's penultimate round of the championship at Donington Park and the final round at Brands Hatch on 12th/13th/14th of October.
PDM is unsure yet which bike it'll opt for next year yet but the plan is to expand beyond these shores and do a few wild card rides in the world supersport, making Pirelli the obvious tyre choice.
