Team Racedays for European Superstock 600 championship
British trackday outfit Racedays is going big-time racing in the European Superstock 600 championship with two young British riders. Two of the best riders in the 2007 R6 Cup, Danny Brill and David Paton will be competing in the highly competitive superstock 600 class which runs alongside the European rounds of the World superbike championship.
The man behind the scheme, Gerry Bryce, has long supported young racing talent through the Racedays European track days and Team Racedays is the logical (if expensive) end point of his enthusiasms. The team will be racing with Honda CBR 600RRRs prepared by German technical wizards AB-Tuning and have support from Alpinestars, Honda Biehl, Lucas and LSL.
As an academy team the riders will be taking part in an intensive training programme with Racedays head coach, MotoGP legend Jeremy McWilliams. Successful tests have already taken place at Almeria, Guadix and Valencia with both riders have taking part in the Racedays Masterclass schools. Jeremy will be with the team at race weekends to help with machine setup, riding technique and race tactics whilst Masterclasses at Assen, Misano, Brno and Magny Cours are all planned prior to the race weekends.
The Superbike Academy team will also be providing technical and coaching support for Northern Irish rider Grant Molloy, who will be competing for Team Suzuki GB in the GSX-R European Cup. Grant is a protege of the Masterclass school and will join the team at all their tests.
