Quigley's Cadwell conquest
It all came together for the Jentin/PDM Racing team at Cadwell Park as their rider Luke Quigley took a well-deserved race win in the National Superstock Championship. Luke qualified on the second row but made an inspired start and stormed into third. After a long battle, he took the lead two laps from the finish when the heavens opened and brought an abrupt end to the race.
Luke has had an arduous season trying to keep pace with the championship's runaway leader, Brendon Roberts. Brendon may have sewn up the title but, with only two rounds left, Luke will be fighting hard to retain second place ahead of Aaron Zanotti and John Laverty who are hot on his heels, only two points behind.
The Jentin/PDM Racing team was set up at short notice at the start of the season, compelling swift development of two GSX-R1000 race bikes. Despite hectic beginnings, progress has ensued at a promising rate. Can they make it pay off next year? The team is currently in discussion with sponsors about next season, so watch this space.
As well as preparing Luke's race bikes, PDM Racing offers a range of services and supplies parts for road and track bikes. They are based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, and can be contacted on 01424 218881.
