Can't stop the Bob show
Bob could 'only' qualify in second and the ebullient Londoner had to settle for second place in the Superstock Cup race at Snetterton but he did post the fastest lap. In fact Bob's 1-08.08 was as quick as the front runners in the Superstock championship, a lap achieved on a fairly basic (pipe and Power Commander) Suzuki GSX-R1000.
And, speaking of Superstock, our other chum – the one from just west of Brum – Luke Quigley, won the grown-up Superstock race, his first race win in...er...a month or two. The Quigster has had an up and down season, but now appears to be happy with bike and set-up and is showing all his old skill again on the Jentin-PDM Suzuki. There's more to come from both riders.
