After the 2012 Olympics- what does 2013 have in store for sport?

The year 2012 was a stellar year for sports events in the UK, with the London Olympic Games taking the centre stage, entertaining millions worldwide, inspiring a generation of future athletes & champions and leaving people hungry for more incredible sports action. One of the controversies surrounding the Olympics though was the ticket debacle that left many fans without tickets for the events they really wanted to see.

Don't miss out on your chance to see your favourite sporting events of 2013 live, whether it be rugby tickets, cricket tickets or NFL 2013 tickets, find out more about the amazing sports action coming to the UK in 2013 at Stub Hub.

The RBS Six Nations Rugby Tournament kicks off in February this year as Wales, England, Italy, Ireland, Scotland and France compete to prove once again who the best team in Europe is in this competition that started in the year 2000 with England victorious four time, France with five wins, Wales has three and Ireland one. Can Italy or Scotland nab their first Six Nations Championship win in 2013? Each of the six teams will play each other once and the team with the most victories will win. As simple as that.

The USA Sevens international Rugby Tournament, being held in Las Vegas Nevada, is the next stop in the 2012-13 HSBC Sevens World Series. This three day tournament will be the only North American leg of the Sevens World Series and is the biggest rugby tournament in North America. As one of the premier sevens rugby tournaments in the world, American Rugby fans will be able to view 16 national teams compete against each other in 45 matches during the tournament in their effort to earn more points and attain higher ranking in the Sevens World Series standings.

This summer, the UK will play host to the ICC Champions Trophy, hosting England, Sri Lanka, South Africa, India, Pakistan, West Indies, Australia and New Zealand in the Cricket tournament second only to the World Cup. Since 2009, this tournament has only involved the eight highest ranking ODI teams as of the six months prior to the start of the tournament. The 2013 Champions Trophy will be the last, as the ICC intends to replace it in the cricketing calendar with a new ICC World Test Championship, so don't miss out on your chance to attend the last ICC Champions Trophy LIVE.

And in the later months of September and October, the American Football players of the NFL come back to Wembley Stadium to tear up the grid iron with the hardest hitting action this side of the Atlantic as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars go head to head with the San Fransisco 49ers!
