What does a Moto2 rider take on track to train in his spare time? If the rider happens to be Johann Zarco then the bike is a Yamaha YZF-R6. Now, the R6 is a fantastic and incredibly popular bike on track. You need only go to a local trackday to see the paddock littered with these little Yams. With a bit of money spent on it and hours of setup time by a professional rider it becomes astounding. But can it really compare to a Moto2 bike? A good technical track would be needed to test that kind of thing. On Friday evening I was sat on a sofa unaware that there was a place called Ledenon in the south of France, let alone that there was a circuit there.
