Three quarters of a litre. One point three pints. 750cc. These days, the seven-fifty treads a fine line between the wild, high revs of 600cc supersports bikes and the brutal, imposing power of 1000cc superbikes. But there was a time, as the oldies say, when 750cc was the crest of the track bike wave. Still living the glory days, still hanging on to that capacity class is Suzuki’s GSX-R750, the last 750cc sports bike. But far from turning up at parties and bar mitzvahs as the token guest, the GSX-R seven-fifty has been quietly honing its perfect balance, seducing riders, before fading into the background of endless group tests it doesn’t fit into.
