Triumph have announced a new colour option for the Tiger 800XC for 2014. The ‘special edition’ XC now has black handlebars and matt Red cockpit infills which match the frame.
At first glance the paintwork appears to be standard black, but the sneaky painters in the Triumph spray shop have added a touch of red metallic to the mix, visible when the light catches it at the right angle. Normally new paintjobs aren’t much to shout about but this particular colour scheme on the 2014 Tiger 800XC looks the mutts nuts as we’re sure you’ll agree from the picture. Adding to the list of black components are exhaust heat shields and pillion grab rails.
The Tiger retains its inline 799cc triple engine which is welcome news to us as it was pretty good to begin with and all 2014 Triumphs are backed up with an unlimited mileage two year factory warranty.
