DESSOY AND SEABRIGHT SET TO CONTINUE WITH PHR PERFORMANCE TRIUMPH FOR 2027 WORLDSPB SEASON
Triumph Factory Racing can confirm that Harrison Dessoy and Fenton Seabright will remain with the PHR Performance Triumph team in 2027, as the British duo return to FIM Sportbike World Championship action aboard the race-winning Triumph Daytona 660.
Peter Hickman’s PHR Performance Triumph Racing factory supported team has enjoyed a positive debut in the inaugural World Sportbike season, with both Dessoy and Seabright amassing a race win and five further podium finishes from the 14 races completed so far.
Riding the Triumph Daytona 660, 21-year-old Dessoy romped to podium success in Aragon with the number 55 rider securing his season-best finish at Cremona last time out in second place. Meanwhile Seabright made his maiden podium visit also at the Aragon round, finishing third in a blockbuster battle. From there, the Spanish-based youngster returned to the podium in Misano before claiming a career-first World Sportbike victory at Magny-Cours in September. He then backed up his victory with another third place in race two.

PHR Performance has enjoyed numerous successes under the Triumph banner, with the Lincolnshire-based team crowned the inaugural winners of the National Sportbike Championship, with Richard Cooper piloting the triple-powered machine to the 2024 title. In 2025, the team took Dessoy to victories and podium finishes in the British paddock before making their exciting debut on the world stage in 2026 for the first-ever FIM Sportbike World Championship.
PHR Performance team owner Hickman has himself enjoyed a long-standing association with Triumph Motorcycles, utilising Triumph’s Street Triple 765 and Daytona 660 machinery at the North West 200 and the prestigious Isle of Man TT Races, as well as the iconic Daytona 200. The road racing star has also played a huge role in the progression of the Daytona 660 on the track and continues to develop the racing package through his PHR Performance outfit.
The unchanged line-up of Dessoy and Seabright will kick off their 2027 season in Portimão on 19-21 March before heading to Valencia for WorldSBK’s first visit since 2010. The Sportbike class will head to the UK with a round at Donington Park in July before ultimately coming to its conclusion in Portugal in October. There are also regulation changes to contend with, as Michelin come in as the official tyre supplier for the 2027 season.

Also for 2027, Hickman’s PHR Performance team will also make a welcome return to the British Superbike paddock as the former champions are making their comeback to the Pirelli British Sportbike Championship with a one rider team, who is yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Both Seabright and Dessoy are eager to end the 2026 season on a high, however, with the World Sportbike Championship coming to an end this weekend at the Circuito de Jerez on 16-18 October.
Harrison Dessoy – PHR Performance Triumph
“I am very happy to be staying with the PHR Performance Triumph Team for 2027 in the World Sportbike Championship. With my first year in World Championships complete, the lessons learnt and information gathered has put myself and the team in a very strong place for the 2027 season. Next season will be presented with a few different changes, the challenge of new circuits and a different tyre manufacturer will make the preparation for next year interesting for the whole championship. I cannot thank Pete, Triumph and the PHR Performance team enough for the opportunity to compete with a competitive package at this level.”
Peter Hickman – Team Owner, PHR Performance Triumph
“I’m really pleased that we’ve managed to retain both Fenton and Harrison for 2027 after what has been a really promising debut season on the World Stage. We’ve used the Daytona 660 now for a good number of years, winning the 2024 National Sportbike Championship and winning races with Harrison in 2025, so the entire PHR Performance team has lots of experience now with the bike. We knew that taking on the challenge of running a World Sportbike team with new circuits to contend with would be a tough task, but both riders, along with the team, have risen to that test and I’m immensely proud of them. We wanted to be fighting at the front, and we’ve achieved podiums and a race victory which bodes well moving into 2027 with yet another year of experience with the Daytona 660. There are new challenges that are waiting for us, we’ll have new tyres with the Michelin’s and new circuits to contend with but I know that the team we have, the riders and the machinery will all work together to deliver what will be another exciting season in 2027.”
Ian Kimber – Head of Global Racing Programmes, Triumph Motorcycles
“It’s exciting to have both Fenton and Harrison committed with PHR Performance and the Triumph Daytona 660 for another World Sportbike season. Both have shown their talent this year with Fenton securing a race win at Magny-Cours and Harrison joining him on the podium finishers list throughout the year. It also shows how competitive the Daytona 660 is on the world stage and I’m eager to see the model and class continue to grow. With a full season in the world championship under their belt, we’re looking forward to watching these two riders and Peter’s team continue to fly the flag at the front of the 2027 Sportbike World Championship. It’s also great that PHR Performance will make a return to the BSB series, and to have another Triumph in the British Sportbike Championship.”
