Ducati Streetfighter V4 one step closer to production.

We all knew it was coming, but more details on the Ducati V4 Streetfighter are here.

Ducati are calling the 2019 Pikes Peak Race to the Clouds the perfect proving ground for the 2020 production model. Later this month Carlin Dunne will get stuck in to winning on the prototype V4 naked machine.

The design of the bike has come from Centro Stile Ducati (we don’t think we need to translate that one) so it gives an indication of what the production bike will look like. The pixelated livery doesn’t exactly hide things and it’s only a matter of time before a designer sticks one of these official images in photoshop and paints the town red.

Ducati head honcho, Claudio Domenicali has already acknowledged existence of the production machine, not something he has done so readily in the past. “The Streetfighter V4 will be one of the stars of the Ducati World Premiere 2020. It’s a Panigale for road riding, so there is no better stage the Pikes Peak Hillclimb for what will be the highest performance Streetfighter ever put into production.”

The design is striking, looks like there’s a set of wings in there to us. We’ll bring you more on this beauty as and when we find the good (official) stuff, rather than the made up bullshit you find on the internet.
