Mallory Park enters administration

Mallory Park Motorsport Limited has announced that the company has been put into administration.

This news comes on top of a string of legal battles with local residents and the local council regarding noise issues at the circuit.

With the number of trackdays and race days being limited in accordance with the pressure from residents, it appears making a profit from the circuit was becoming increasingly difficult.

This is also bad news for The Chris Walker Race School which uses Mallory Park as its base.

In August, the circuit was ordered to pay fines and costs totallling over £26,000 for breaching strict noise regulations.

The administrator, Ian Robert said “I will be working with all the stakeholders to ensure that Mallory Park will see racing again.  I hope the administration process can assist in finding a solution that will be beneficial to all parties concerned”

Finding a buyer with the recent noise issues will surely be a difficult task but The Circuit is a firm favourite with trackdayers and BSB fans alike.
