It’s no great secret, we all knew a new water-cooled Ducati Monster was on the cards. And sure enough the latest 1198cc Testastretta V-Twin enginned Monster was unveiled at Italy’s EICMA show today.
Styling is unmistakeably Monster with a few new touches like the Diavel inspired number-plate hanger. The chassis is also a monocoque construction while retaining the trellis shape on the upper half that has become synonymous with the Monster model.
Running gear is the typical high quality Ohlins and Brembo equipment that adorns all ‘S’ model Ducatis and the figures are equally impressive, a quoted 145bhp and a 182kg dry weight.
