TRICKY TENNESSEE TRIP FOR TRIUMPH FACTORY RACING
Jordon Smith has persevered on a difficult day inside of Nashville’s Nissan Stadium at Round 13 of the AMA Supercross Championship, where crashes stopped him from capitalising on his positive momentum from previous weeks.
Smith was 17th in timed qualification, then transferred directly into the main event via an eighth in his heat race. A superb start in the feature race saw him utilise the power within his TF 450-X, where he quickly slotted into the top ten. Sadly, an incident with another rider on the opening lap caused the Triumph rider to fall, which hampered his progress and he was eventually ranked 22nd.
Meanwhile on Friday night, Ricky Carmichael used the TF 450-X to win a ‘Holeshot Challenge’ in the heart of Nashville’s famous lower Broadway. Carmichael won in a bracket-style format in front of an estimated 90,000 spectators.
A new venue, Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field, will host the 14th round of 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross on Saturday 18 April, Ohio will mark the final Triple Crown event of the current term.

“Another difficult day here in Nashville. I have worked so hard to be better on the weekends and it is not translating right now. It’s back to the drawing board, but we will keep giving it our maximum effort.”

“In the main Jordon had a good start, but sadly was hit by another rider which caused him to fall. By the time Jordon got back going again it was hard to make up time. It was a very unfortunate situation, but the lap times were good enough to be around 10th. The Triple Crown is next weekend, so hopefully we can repeat our performance from the last one.”
